Solidarité Suisse-Guinée is an association composed mainly of Swiss and Guineans who share values such as mutual aid, sustainable development and knowledge sharing.

The association's goals are the fight against poverty, the search for sustainable economic, social and environmental development, the strengthening of democracy and the promotion of human rights in the Republic of Guinea (Guinea Conakry).

Created in January 2011, the association is growing, strengthening and renewing itself year after year in order to achieve its objectives in an efficient and sustainable manner. Its president, Mrs. Adjidjatou Barry Baud, a native of Guinea and a Swiss citizen at heart and by nationality, had the idea following multiple cooperation missions carried out in favour of the Guinean population with a small group of Swiss people. Its committee is made up of six committed members.

The action of Solidarité Suisse-Guinée, mainly centred on Lower and Middle Guinea, is materialised through structured and collectively organised partners (market gardening cooperatives, social security mutuals, craftsmen's groups, and all other forms of organisation), whose desire is to progress towards economic and social well-being.
