The CSI Cooperative de Soins Infirmiers is a non-profit organization built on a unique model in Switzerland. It brings together nurses who work as independents and provide home care services in close collaboration with the partners of the cantonal care network. Active independent nurses are members of the Swiss Nurses Association. The CSI is a member of the Association Spitex Privée Suisse and of the Chamber of Social and Solidarity Economy. It is a signatory of the collaboration charter of the partners of the care network.

It pursues the following objectives:

  • To offer independent nurses* working conditions that allow them to practice their profession in the most satisfactory way possible.
  • To respond to requests for care from patients who are referred to the CSI according to the quality and ethical criteria of the Swiss Nurses Association and according to the criteria defined in the service contract signed between the CSI and the Department of Employment and Health (DES).
  • To respond to the requests of prescribing physicians, to carry out the care they delegate to us by providing them with the added value of a nursing assessment of their patient at home.
