Valais Solidaire (VSS) aims to implement and promote development projects and intercultural exchanges integrating the different criteria of sustainable development, namely: a socially equitable, culturally respectful, ecologically renewable, economically efficient and politically responsible development, in accordance with an ethics of participation and solidarity.

VSS also has the mission to inform the Valaisan public and the communal and cantonal authorities about the challenges of international cooperation. To carry out these tasks, VSS relies on the expertise of volunteer collaborators who offer their skills within the various bodies of the federation.
