Since 1994, the Fédération Interjurassienne de Coopération et de Développement (FICD) brings together organizations active in the fields of development and cooperation based in the canton of Jura, the Bernese Jura and French-speaking Biel. 35 associations are members of the FICD. They carry out projects in Africa, Asia, Latin America and Eastern Europe. 14 communities are also supporting members of the IFCCD.

The FICD has the following objectibves :

• To guarantee the level of competence of its member associations.
• To   Follow up on projects that receive grants.
• To be recognized as representing the interests of its member NGOs.
• To sensitize and inform the public in the Jura and Bernese Jura on topics related to development and cooperation.

The FICD is a member of FEDERESO, which gathers the federations of the other French-speaking cantons and of Ticino.

The IFCCD maintains partnerships with the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), the Canton of Jura, the Bernese Jura Council (CJB), the Security Department, Funds and Authorizations section of the Canton of Berne, and the City of Delémont.
