The association pursues the following goals:
- to provide psychological and social support to men who are victims of domestic violence,
- to make men responsible for the domestic and family violence they suffer,
- to provide information about existing social, legal and therapeutic services according to the difficulties encountered,
- to develop collaborations with the network's social partners working in the field of domestic and family violence,
- to make visible the domestic violence suffered by men and thus contribute to its identification and recognition.
Its mission is to offer direct contact, listening and a personalized welcome, to provide assistance adapted to the needs of men,nto be a specific support center within the Geneva intervention network.
Pharos-Geneva also offers information and support for father-child relationships, since children exposed to domestic violence are also impacted, collaborates with partner associations and institutions in French-speaking Switzerland working in the field of domestic violence and encourages reflection and discussion, organizes, upon request, information sessions, as well as training for medical-psycho-social staff of institutions in Switzerland or abroad.
