The Pôle Autisme Foundation is recognized as a cantonal competence center for children and young people with ASD.
The goals of the Pôle Autisme Foundation:
- Promote understanding of the causes, prevention, treatment and research in the field of autism.
- Promote specific psycho-pedagogical and educational training for professionals, parents and people affected by autism themselves.
- Promote education, housing, employment, leisure, community and civic participation, personal, social and emotional development, throughout life, for people with ASD.
- Promote a better understanding of ASD, the impact on individuals, families and society in general.
The actions of the Pôle Autisme Foundation:
- Bring together the community of the Lake Geneva region of people affected by autism so that the Foundation's concerns can be heard and actions to address them can be taken.
- Promote the partnership between parents and professionals.
- Allow the dissemination of information and scientific knowledge to the public and to different local communities.
