Viol-Secours is a feminist, non-profit organization based in Geneva, officially recognized as serving the public interest. Since 1985, it has been combating gender-based and sexual violence at social, political, and judicial levels. The organization provides free and confidential psychosocial and art therapy support to anyone identifying as a "woman," as well as trans, non-binary, and intersex individuals aged 16 and older, regardless of their romantic or sexual orientation or legal status, who have experienced gender-based or sexual violence, whether recently or in the past. It also offers guidance and support to the victims’ relatives and professionals working in the field.
Additionally, Viol-Secours works to prevent gender-based and sexual violence through interventions in institutions, training and awareness-raising modules, prevention campaigns, and feminist self-defense workshops.
