The Geneva Learning Foundation (TGLF) researchs, develop, and scale up new ways to learn and lead against critical threats to our societies.

It has developed a unique approach, grounded in learning science and a decade of research and practice, to nurture digital networks. it builds collective capacity for transformation. It does this in ways that motivate participants to implement thousands of their own locally-designed projects, leading to measurable, lasting impact.

Learning is the key to humanity’s survival and sustainable development. Faced with the challenges of an increasingly complex world, one role of education is to help humanity to overcome challenges like climate change, conflicts, and inequality. Geneva, the nineteenth century birthplace of the first humanitarian conventions, can become a hub for humanitarian education. The Foundation aims to promote innovation and its application in the creation and sharing of knowledge, including in the fields of research, education, training, teaching, assessment, and in all aspects of learning, whether formal or informal.

The Geneva Learning Foundation hosts the largest and fastest-growing community of national and sub-national health professionals, with over 46,000 active participants from more than 110 countries.

Founded in 2016, it is a Swiss non-profit organization located in Geneva.
