Founded by the Swiss Confederation and the Republic and Canton of Geneva, the International Geneva Welcome Centre is the single entry point for the support and integration of employees of International Geneva and their families, NGOs and visiting delegates.

The CAGI’s mission is threefold :

1. Welcome and integration in Geneva and the Lake Geneva region of people employed by international organizations, non-governmental organizations, diplomatic missions and consulates, multinational companies, as well as doctoral students and professors by offering them appropriate services upon their arrival and throughout their stay.
2. Accommodation for delegates from developing countries to ensure their stay during their participation in conferences, training courses or work meetings within the framework of International Geneva.
3. Advice and assistance to NGOs with a view to their installation and maintenance in Geneva, in liaison with the cantonal authorities concerned.

In addition to the practical assistance it provides, the CAGI organizes or supports cultural and social events promoting exchanges between “International Geneva” and local communities.
