Wearing masks is a common practice in healthcare settings. Although face masks are a necessary part of infection control, their use creates significant challenges for patients and staff.

The goal of the project is to develop an entirely transparent first-in-class medical mask. This relies on the creation of a new and unique kind of non-woven materials combining transparency and physical properties compliant with existing medical regulations.

Moreover, to address environmental concerns related to the recent mass consumption of mask products, we carefully selected polymers so that the transparent material is (by weight) over 98% (bio)degradable.
