The FOPH represents Switzerland’s health-related interests abroad. It protects public health, formulates health policy and ensures that the Swiss health system is efficient and financially viable.

The International Affairs Division manages the FOPH’s international work. It represents Switzerland’s interests at international organisations, in particular the World Health Organization (WHO), working closely with our directorates.
